Who is responsible

What we collect
Name, email, phone number and address you provide when booking. Details about the device and the fault. Photos you upload. Messages between you and us. Technical information about your visit (only with consent).
Why
To carry out the repair and communicate about it (performance of contract). For bookkeeping (legal obligation). For site statistics (consent).
For how long
Repair and customer records are kept for 7 years under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act. Photos and messages are deleted 2 years after the repair is closed. Abandoned bookings are deleted within 24 hours.
Who we share with
Under GDPR, we only share your personal data to the extent needed to run this service, and never for anyone else's own purposes without asking you first. In practice: Vercel (hosting, EU), Neon (database, EU), and Resend (email) process data on our behalf to run the site and get in touch with you. Google (statistics) and Meta/Facebook (ad measurement) receive data only if you give consent, and even then, never on the page where you submit or track your repair case, so the name, contact details, and address you enter there never reach Google or Meta. We never sell your data.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure and portability, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@laptopclinic.se. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Cookies
Necessary cookies are required for the site to work. Google Analytics (statistics) and the Meta pixel (ad measurement, Facebook/Instagram) are set only with your consent and can be changed at any time via the link in the footer.
